I really enjoyed working on these plums. This painting went a lot quicker than what I thought it would, but that is a good thing. I'm looking forward to doing more still lifes of fruits and veggie.
I can't believe that I haven't posted anything since February! It is not for the lack of making art, because I've been working on several projects. I guess I better get with it and start posting again. Please keep checking back.
I started making these "Mini Paintings" because I had remnant papers and couldn't bring my self to throw them out. These are fun and take me an hour to do (if I don't get side tracked). ENJOY!

Kansas Sunset Pastel 6"x8"
When I started this painting I thought "YIKES", but I think it turned out well. It is one of those that you have to look at from across the room. This is going to be the other painting that I put in the "Local Edition" show in Lincoln.

Wondering Path Pastel 6"x8"
This is one of the paintings that I'll be putting in a show called "Local Edition". The show is taking place at the Lincoln Art Center starting March 7th. I'm still trying to decide on the second painting.
On another note, I added an artist to my links. Her name is Pattie Wall and I met her in December. She is a great artist so be sure to check her blog out.
